? ? ??《中国新文艺大系》是按历史时期划分，由近及远，囊括了文学艺术各门类的理论作品和史料，其理论部分包括文艺基础理论、文艺理论和文学评论、艺术理论和艺术批评；文学作品部分包括短篇小说、中篇小说、报告文学、民间文学、少数民族文学、诗歌、杂文、儿童文学；艺术作品包括戏剧、电影、电视、曲艺、音乐、美术、摄影、舞蹈、书法、杂技等。目前已完成数字化出版工程。

? ? ??《中国新文艺大系》是一部反映“五四”运动以来中国新文艺优秀成果及其发展历程的拔萃总集，目的是为继承和发扬优秀文化传统、进一步繁荣我国的社会主义文艺事业，为研究、总结中国文学艺术的发展、衍变的规律和历史经验，提供一套比较系统、完整的资料。随着互联网的发展及计算机技术的不断飞越，为满足多载体的阅读趋势，为阅读和文献检索更加便利，中国文联出版社在财政部和中国文联的支持下，将已出版的《中国新文艺大系》所刊载的文艺作品数字化，结构化，将5300位作者的近万篇幅的文艺作品制作成为中国新文艺大系专题数据库。中国新文艺大系专题数据库现已完成内容加工和系统建设工作，并上线试运营。通过对内容的碎片化处理，数据库提供全文检索、二次检索、分类导航、分类浏览、原版浏览等功能，支持原版式阅读、网页浏览等多种阅读模式，并可提供在线浏览及存储介质浏览两种使用方式，为文艺爱好者和文艺研究机构提供内容知识服务。同时，我们也期望这部总集和数据库，能帮助广大读者，统览各个时期的优秀文艺作品，在浩如烟海的出版物中汲取精华，并能有助于世界各国了解中国和研究中国的新文艺，促进国际交流。

The Chinese New Literature and Art Series?Specialized Database
The Chinese New Literature and Art Series is the first literature series project of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House since it was founded in 1982. Following the guidance of Marxism and Leninism, and Mao Zedong Thought, keeping the attitude of historical materialism, and persisting in the policy of “letting a hundred flowers bloom, a hundred schools of thought contend”, the Chinese New Literature and Art Series strives to pursue a realistic and pragmatic approach, and show the history of Chinese new literature and art in different periods. The Chinese New Literature and Art Series provides a relatively complete set of historical documents for understanding and researching Chinese history of literature and art in the 20th century. It will serve as a link between past and future for promoting the prosperity of creation, activity of theory, and continuous increase of talents. Zhou Yang, the chairman of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, is the general counsellor of the Chinese New Literature and Art Series, Chen Huangmei is the general chief editor, and Feng Mu and Li Geng are the deputy general chief editors. Under the leadership of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the editorial board of the Chinese New Literature and Art Series, the representative figures, famous experts and scholars in various groups and genres in circle of Chinese literature and art since the new literary movement, are invited to serve as chief editors of sub series and volumes. A great number of famous experts and scholars give strong support to this large-scale literature project which records the history of literature and art in modern China.

The Chinese New Literature and Art Series is a distinguished collection which presents the outstanding achievements of Chinese new literature and art since the May Fourth Movement. Its purpose is to inherit and carry forward the great cultural tradition, furtherly prosper socialist literature and art, and provide systematical and complete documents for researching and summarizing the law of development and evolvement, and historical experience of Chinese literature and art. With the development of the internet and the continuous leap of computer technology, in order to meet the requirement for multi format reading trend and more convenient read and search, sponsored by Ministry of Finance and China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House digitalizes and structures the literature and art works published in the Chinese New Literature and Art Series, creates the Chinese New Literature and Art Series Specialized Database covering nearly 10000 works by 5300 authors. After the data processing and system building was finished, the Chinese New Literature and Art Series Specialized Database has been put into on-line trial operation. By means of fragmentation of content, the database can provide functions such as full-text retrieving, refined searching, classified navigation, classified browsing, and original browsing, etc., various reading patterns such as the original pattern and web browsing pattern, etc., and two browsing ways such as online and from storage medium. Content knowledge service is provided to literature and art hobbyists and research Institutes. In the meantime, we hope the Chinese New Literature and Art Series and its database can help the readers select the masterpieces from a multitude of publications, have an overview of and get the spirit from the great literature and art works in various periods; and it can also help the world know China and research Chinese new literature and art, and promote international communication.
